I deleted the FaceBook icon on the homepage.

Started two weeks ago, my Facebook account has been suspended for three times. For the first time, I’ve experienced the situation that no one could find my name and message me on this disgusting platform and all of contents of the account are not visible.

Facebook said that I violated their policy but they didn’t tell any clear reason. I think that all of my activities on it are normal. Maybe it’s just because of a virtual number related to this account? Or I didn’t interact on it actively so they think that this is a fake account?

I was required to show my face and take the photo of my ID again and again. The recent result of their review is that they couldn’t confirm my identity because of unclear photos and I only ramained one opportunity to submit. If the review fails again, my account will be totally deleted.

I imagined that when someone’s account was removed permenatently, all of personal data and chatting history on the Messenger was removed. It was similar with that this person hasn’t be alive in this world. All of his memories, all of his history was deleted just because of unreasonable policies of this platform.

Because of the character of social media platforms, Facebook only encourage people to share newest moments intentionally just for improving interactions. History can be insignificant and it was disappearing… There are still billions of people using this kind of platforms though their memories and histories are not controlled by themselves.

Where to save your memories online and let them be visitable? There was an article talks about this topics and it encouraged me to chose GitHub. Comparing with social media platforms, GitHub is more reliable for saving memories. I’m glad that I came here.
